Plant the Gibson 496R dual-coil at the neck and gain classic rhythm-focussed depth, before planting the Gibson 500T dual-coil at the bridge to shape treble-focussed leads. The original 496R humbucker was first released all the way back in the seventies and helped voice heavier rock genres, including the early years of metal, so you're assured of the tasty bite and sustain-rich solos of a ceramic core.

The 500T humbucker features a Ceramic 8 magnetic core, which has a multi-magnet construction that guarantees consistently big and commanding guitar sound. All of this happens without sacrificing any of the tightness in the trebles or the fullness of the bass register and makes this humbucker the go-to when it comes to defined rhythms and extra in-your-face leads. Since both pickups have also been kitted out with four-conductor wiring, series to parallel switching as well as coil-split switching is fully supported.
